Anchor Under the Stars
What could be more romantic than a night at sea with a loved one? Drop your anchor and soak in the night sky while maintaining your safety by following some key rules. First of all, don’t fall asleep. Coast Guard rules state there must always be a lookout and this is especially key if you are in an area which is subject to a lot of boat traffic. Everyone on board should also be able to respond in case of emergency and should be able to start the engine, maneuver the boat and retrieve the anchor line. Following these rules ensures your night under the stars doesn’t turn into a night among the fishes!
Enjoy a Boating Excursion with the Family
Florida is not only surrounded by the ocean on three sides, it’s also home to over 30,000 lakes, meaning it’s a state that’s ripe with opportunity for boating excursions. From New Smyrna which is known as one of the world’s best surf towns, to Kissimmee, the land of 50 lakes, there are tons of options for a fun boating excursion with the family. Spend your vacation on the water!
